Shallow Mounted Rising Wedge Blocker | Efficient Vehicle Access Control

The Suprema RB-SM501 High Security Road Blocker delivers superior protection against unauthorized vehicle access, specifically engineered for entrance points with potential vehicle attack threats or locations requiring maximum security.

This Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) solution provides comprehensive protection against Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosive Device (VBIED) attacks, ensuring site security and personnel safety.

The SM501 shallow mounted design minimizes basement compartment depth requirements and eliminates installation challenges in areas with existing public services. The system can also be installed at ground level using an appropriate slope configuration.

Featuring an electron-hydraulic drive unit with external hydraulic station and controller, the road blocker operates with a typical rise/descent time of 3-5 seconds. Emergency Fast Operation (EFO) capability reduces this to just 2 seconds when equipped with the optional hydraulic accumulator system.
